i have no life. my current schedule consists of work, school, and work. no where in there does sleep or eat come into play. but then again i stupidly spent 5 of my 9 hours to sleep watching the 6th season of sex in the city. i love that show. watch access hollywood people cause they came and taped at my work. |

this week felt like vacation. i spent 3 days with erica, 2 with my parents, and accomplished absolutely nothing aside from purchasing two cds and some food for the party. it was great. except for i still haven't slept over 2 hours a night in two weeks.so i guess i should shatter any delusions about my academic prowess. i don't go to ucla anymore.Current Mood:  devious |

so anyone who lives in LA should know by now that some idiot who tried to kill himself ended up derailing two trains and killing 12 other people instead. well, the train that initially derailed is the train my dad takes every day to work. only last night i called my mom and asked if they wanted to go out to dinner with rachel tonight. my dad was supposed to go shopping tonight for poster boards and shit for a science fair tomorrow and drive his car tomorrow. but my mom made him go last night so he would have time to go to dinner tonight. so instead he drove to work today with all the science fair shit in the autobus de fiesta. thusly my dad wasn't one of the 12 dead or the hundreds of injured. my mom told me all this at like 1pm when she picked me up and we cried together. and then again when my grandma told what a wreck she was when she realized it was his train. i hate tragedy.

so yesterday was fucking awesome. i spent like 300 dollars on frivolous purchases. it was good times. in preparation for amanda's coworker's party on saturay night we ventured forth into the fashion jungle known as the mall and we conquered. i bought some fucking hot shirts and some smack pants and some victoria's secret bras(my first clothing purchase there) a new kick ass belt, the most comfortable pants in the world, and some total "fuck me shoes" as amanda puts it. along with some new bling i am going to look hot. action will be had. i can so not wait. we followed up this successful venture with a hilarious dinner at TGIFridays with the best waiter ever, Mr. Matthew Wayne Hofman. he was hilarious and all over the place. then we watched my lover gerard on letterman and I fell asleep dreaming of my new love Bert. i am so in a good mood despite having to get up at the butt crack of dawn only to miss a bus and two classes. thank god for lecture notes online. i did make it to my discussion classes and i am totally infatuated with my english TA.

So I would like to thank all who made it to my Bangin' New Year's Bash. it was a blast, if i say so myself. Thanks to Renegade for entertaining us with your new songs. you were fantastic. Despite the fact that my toilet flooded the bathroom, I stubbed my toe, and my wall leaked, it was a good night. so happy 2005. good luck all.

so sarah and amanda came over yesterday to do some shopping. unfortunately they didn't meet me in time to stop me from spending $200 on christmas presents. yikes. well, what can you do? but we hung out and i bought sarah a "bert is my homeboy" T-shirt. amanda didn't clue in on that i would've bought her a shirt too. now i feel bad. hmm. well, so i also bought myself the "My Chemical Romance" cd, which is actually pretty good. they're strange. amanda got "The Rasmus" this band from Finland who kick ass. its good times. then they came over and spent the night. sarah got to see my apartment for the first time. we stayed up late listening to music and chatting and doing random yoga moves in front of my window wall. i had a blast seeing my friends again. btw, whatever girls want a Girl's Night Out on Friday or Saturday, i don't work, so i say we hit up Buca's or something and have some fun. happy christmas y'all. i just passed another final.

so once again I find myself in the clicc lab at ucla. i have a paper due tomorrow. the good news is that i have already written the paper and just need to edit. the bad news...i forgot my disk at the apartment. fuck! luckily i have a paper copy. i loathe typing. bleh. so i went home on wednesday for kicks and bingo. i went to bed at 12 and was having a lovely dream about benji when i suddenly realize that my bed is vibrating. yes, someone was texting me. turned out to be amanda telling my to hop a bus and come up to saugus on thursday. she fucking texted me at 1:30 in the morning. good times. so of course i did hop said bus and me, amanda, and rachel had a grand excursion to the valencia mall. we didn't actually purchase much. but it was fun chillin. i ditched class on friday cause my teacher pissed me off, so we went to denny's instead and i took the train home and went to work. i worked all weekend and lalala i have finals tomorrow. eck. what can you do. i also bought the most comfortable pants in the world. the end.

so my french teacher spoils my plans. we were going to go visit the alemanians next friday, but now i find out that last week she lied to us and our final is really next friday not tuesday. biotch. so we shall see if thursday proves as good a day for visiting. bugger. in other news i FINALLY got the money from the concert tickets transferred into my account and am no longer poor. good times. sarah comes home soon, yay! love the pixie.
